I blogged and a card!

Its been a long time since my last blog post, but its my Mom's fault.  Just ask Miss Chris, I have been asking my Mom forever to upload my photos for me.  Anyways, I got this stamp for Christmas, I'm pretty sure my Mom got it from Unity Stamp Co.  My mom has these fancy pens that she let me use.  I don't know what makes them fancy, but they color really good.  Now read over the last two sentences in a Southern accent and it sounds really funny.  The cool thing about having a Mom who buys too much stuff is that you get to use all of it.  I used a few of her punches, but everything else is from my stuff.  My parents got me some really neat craft stuff for Christmas, and she just got me more for Valentine's Day.  Hopefully I will get to post again before 4th of July.  I turn 13 this month t-minus twelve days.  I think I want more clothes and craft stuff, going to Sticky Fingers, and seeing Coraline at the movies, my brother and I read the book.

We saw Mall Cop on Friday it was really funny.

thinking of you card

I got the felt dragonfly embellishment from my penpal Emily, "hi Emily" if you are reading this.  It came with a butterfly one too, they are really cute.  I wanted to use purple paper with the dragonfly.  The pink paper came from my Mom's scraps, she thinks its K & Company.  The stamp is from Inkadinkado and the ribbon is from Michael's.

One of my favorites

This is one of my favorite cards that I have made.  I like the colors on it and the paper.  I might mail it to a friend, I like it too much to send out yet.  

I went to the pool and went swimming today.  Who gets to do that in October?

Hello blog world, this is my very first post.  I have been asking my Mom forever to set a blog up for me, so she finally did.  So Thank You Mommy!!!!!  Ever since I can remember my Mom has been dragging me and my brother with her to craft stores.  So it was only a matter of time until I got into crafting with her.  I like to make cards and to scrap book, a few months ago I did my first swap too.  I like to make cards because its fun and you get to express your creativity.  I have my own paper, ribbon, stamps and other embellishments but sometimes I go into my Mom's when I need something special.

Here is a card that I made.  The paper and chipboard are from a kit I got for Christmas and the stamp is from one of those dollar stamps sets from Michael's.  

One of my Mom's best friend's, her name is Chris, she sent me the notebook and told me to alter it.  So I did.  I just put some paper over the front, stamped a cute little bird & added some gems and ribbon.  I'm not sure what I'm going to use it for yet, but for now I just like to look at it.  Thats all for today.
